We've recently discovered that Yahoo! blocks e-mail sent from our mail server, including membership confirmation e-mails. It seems they use a black hole list service called Spamhaus PBL which automatically lists servers on dynamic IP addresses as possible spammers. OWC is not a large commercial interest and therefor we can't really afford fixed IP addresses at this time. The only real solution is for us to warn users that if they use a Yahoo! account they will not be able receive e-mail from us.

We appologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and invite users who never received confirmation e-mails to either join again with another e-mail address, or e-mail chazrich.geo@yahoo.com (I know it seems strange, but our administrator is on Yahoo! too) and ask him to manually validate your account.

Students and teachers can now post their portfolios online directly from One World Classroom, create discussion groups and more. Click on My Portfolio in the menu to the left or go to http://www.oneworldclassroom.com/mahara . Log in with your One World Classroom username and password, or create new user account to get started.
